On May 12, 2025, the SCENE Project, in collaboration with the School of Film at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), held a workshop titled “Digital Tools and AI in Filmmaking – Ψηφιακά εργαλεία και τεχνητή νοημοσύνη στην κινηματογράφηση.”
The event, organised within the “Sound and Direction” course, brought together over 60 participants, including film school students, directors, producers, and professors, for an engaging discussion on how emerging technologies are reshaping cinema in Europe.
Participants had the chance to see live demonstrations of the digital tools and innovations developed through the SCENE platform. Feedback was highly constructive, with professionals from across the filmmaking community offering diverse perspectives on how the tools could better align with the real needs of the industry.
The workshop was organised by AUTH, with the support of CERTH (SCENE project coordinator) and White Research. It marked an important step in connecting academic learning, industry expertise, and technological innovation in the field of audiovisual production.
