The 158th Audio Engineering Society (AES) Convention, the flagship European event of AES, took place under the theme “Shaping the Soundscape of Tomorrow”. The keynote presentation, “Dimensions of Immersive Audio Experiences”, set the stage for discussions highly relevant to SCENE, as our Audio Simulation Tool also delivers innovative immersive audio experiences.

SCENE partners (AUTH) actively contributed to the convention by presenting three research papers that highlight advances achieved within the project and reported in Deliverables D4.4 and D4.5:

Comparing Artificially Created Acoustic Environments to Real Space Responses: Integrating Objective Metrics and Subjective Perceptual Listening Tests (available here)

Reconstructing Sound Fields with Physics-Informed Neural Networks: Applications in Real-World Acoustic Environments (D4.4) (available here)

An Audio Quality Metrics Toolbox for Media Assets Management, Content Exchange, and Dataset Alignment (available here)

Presented in poster formats, these contributions enabled direct engagement with participants, fostering fruitful exchanges on SCENE’s objectives, methodologies, and results. The feedback gathered from the international community of experts will help further strengthen the project’s research and innovation outcomes.
